<summary>Some Greenwood City Council members are suggesting that Mayor Carolyn McAdams move slowly on proposing a new sign ordinance.
McAdams said this morning that the plan to form a sign ordinance review committee - an idea advanced on Feb. 16 - is beginning to take shape.
“We’ve gotten some names, some acceptances and some declines as well,” the mayor said.
The review committee will contain one representative from the council as well as business and community leaders and sign company representatives. Particular emphasis will be placed on business owners along U.S. 82.
