Oct. 3, 2008: The Osher Foundation made successive $50,000 gifts, assisting six students in 2006--07, and eight in 2007--08. This year’s $1 million donation will permanently endow the scholarship, and assist in reducing the amount of debt that qualified students will accrue in completing their degrees.
