Algae Biofuel Investments Explode

Algae-based biofuel companies have been raking in the venture capital this year, raising a record-breaking $179.5 million to date, according to numbers from the Cleantech Group. A company I work with, PetroAlgae, just netted $10 million in December and is hoping for commercialization in the not too distant future.
