Boston Scientific Corporation makes medical supplies used in minimally invasive surgeries. Its devices are used to diagnose and treat conditions in a variety of medical fields, including cardiology, gynecology, urology, endoscopy, and neuromodulation. Boston Scientific is well known for the development of the Taxus Stent, a drug-eluting stent which is used to open clogged arteries.
