Blogging Revenues, Brands and Blogs: Bloggers continue to rake in advertising dollars

The average blogger who brings in advertising revenue makes $42,548 a year from it, according to a survey by Technorati. Some bloggers supplement their ad income with paid speaking and writing gigs, the survey finds. Just 14% of bloggers work for another company, while 54% say they blog part time and 32% identify themselves as self-employed.
