Three Gorges Dam: The World's Largest Boondoggle to Be Completed

In early November, the reservoir of the Three Gorges Dam on China's Yangtze River will reach a level of 175 meters. Fifteen years after construction started, the world's largest and most controversial hydropower project will thus be completed.
