Troubled banks are selling off soured credit-card and other loans to bolster their books. Hospitals are enlisting firms to track down delinquent patients. The industry's revenues are expected to grow 6% annually for the next three years. But critics fear debt collectors will become more aggressive as more borrowers struggle.
