The bad news just keeps getting worse for companies that offer workers a traditional pension plan. According to pension experts at consulting firm Watson Wyatt, companies with defined benefit pensions are going to have to come up with $109 billion in cash to shore up their pension plans this year. And another $103 billion next year. That’s up from $38 billion in 2007.
