This story follows the path from conception to engineering to design and through the manufacturing of Lenovo's ThinkPad X300 laptop. It's an ultra-light, ultra-thin, PC that the company's Japanese and US designers and engineers created in an effort to show tthat they could be even more creative under the wing of Lenovo than they had been under IBM. The laptop hit the market in February 2008.
