These Eastern European countries are growing fast as they complete the transition from Communism to a free-market economy. But problems remain -- crime and corruption in Bulgaria and Romania, slowing growth in the Czech Republic and Hungary, and, across the region, disaffected voters who miss the communist security blanket.
