A new report by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) finds a direct correlation between a nation’s GDP and the number and strength of its knowledge networks. “Knowledge networks” are distinct from social or business networks because they exist to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and information, as opposed to merely facilitating business or personal relationships.
