A team of scientists from McGill University in Montreal found that the neurotransmitter dopamine was released when people listened to their favorite songs.
The research published in the journal Nature Neuroscience shows that when we like a particular song our brains behave as if reacting to sex, food, drug or money by flooding our brain with the feel-good chemical dopamine.
