Ford's Water Reduction Strategy - Sustainability Report 2009/10

Ford's global manufacturing operations reduced water consumption by more than 62 percent, approximately 10.5 billion gallons from 2000 to 2009 plus an impressive 16.6 percent reduction during 2008 to 2009. Other accomplishments include cutting CO2 emissions in 2009 model vehicles by 12% versus a 2006 baseline. Ford says it is on schedule to cut CO2 emissions by 30% in vehicles by 2020.
