INCENTIVE TRAVEL
Incentive trips can take place abroad or closer to home if company results don't justify foreign travel. Incentive travel, a particularly effective approach to inspiring sales and executive teams, pays for itself. Sales incentive trips take place AFTER successful results have been produced and they are financed by revenue that has already been generated. The AIG effect resulted in some companies cutting their incentive travel programmes. During a recession, it is more important than ever for companies that are doing well to bring back incentive travel. They'll be inspiring their top performers to keep producing results despite the obstacles. Companies will also be helping the economy. This topic explores strategies for improving the effectiveness of incentive travel programmes and highlights some destinations and activities for companies to consider.
