Information Overload describes an excess of information that results in the loss of ability to make decisions, process information, and prioritize tasks. Information overload impacts companies of all shapes and sizes and has become a major problem, costing large organizations billions of dollars in lower productivity and hampered innovation. Few managers are aware of the extent of the problem.
