INTERACTION DESIGN

Interaction design (IxD) defines the structure and behavior of interactive products and services. Interaction designers create compelling relationships between people and the interactive systems they use (from computers to mobile devices to appliances). Interaction design lays the groundwork for intangible experiences. Following the fundamental tenets of user-centered design, interaction design is grounded in an understanding of real users -- their goals, tasks, experiences, needs, and wants.
