Lokey, the founder of Business Wire and a passionate supporter of universities, scientific advancement research, and educational institutions, recently announced a $75 million commitment to Stanford University for stem cell research, increasing a 2007 pledge by $42 million. He also gave $30 million to the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel.
