Six years ago, Tosei Yanagida and his wife, Hiroko, decided to move out of their traditional home in the Tsukuda area of central Tokyo and move into a high-rise condominium in the middle of the city. They combined two apartments in a Ginza-district high-rise so they would have enough space to entertain.
