Pakistan PSO supplies fuel oil to power firms on payment promise

State-owned oil marketing and distribution company Pakistan State Oil,
which had suspended fuel oil supplies to power companies for defaulting on payments, resumed supplies August 2 on getting an assurance from the government that it would be paid Rupees 25 billion ($290 million) over the next two weeks.
