ABHISHEK AGRAWAL

Mr. Agrawal specializes in strategy development, portfolio management & optimization, asset valuations and decision process design. He is a quick study and has delivered exceptionally as a management consultant, research chemist and computational biologist. Over the years, he has supported 3 of top 5 pharmaceuticals on portfolio & asset growth strategies. He has broad international experience and has worked in US, China and Japan.

A few examples of his experience follow:

- Performed 3rd party valuation for a group of privately held companies and a major investment bank to secure debt financing.

- Supported one of top 5 pharmaceutical companies on developing growth strategies in Japan & China as well as designing a framework & model for optimizing rebates to health plans for products

- Developed an asset valuation tool for two of the top 3 biotech companies. Tool is being used for prioritizing all development projects and in-licensing opportunities

- Enabled one of the top 5 pharmaceutical companies to set long term pipeline performance goals for the entire portfolio in terms of discovery output, in – licensing activity, number of annual line extensions and NME launches

Prior to SDG Life Sciences, Mr. Agrawal was a research associate at Amylin Pharmaceutical and consultant at Bionest Partners. He has been involved in couple of startups. He was the technical lead for a pattern recognition based specialized search engine. Later he participated as an advisor to a web 2.0 enterprise building a social network and media platform for the healthcare community.

Mr. Agrawal holds a Masters in Bioscience degree from Claremont Graduate University. He graduated valedictorian and summa cum laude from Coastal Carolina University with a BS in Computer Science and Biology.
