ADAM ASTON
Adam Aston is an independent journalist, editor and analyst focusing on green business, energy and the environment. He has written about these topics for BusinessWeek, GreenBiz.com, NRDC’s OnEarth, MIT’s Technology Review and The Fiscal Times. He has also edited for and contributed to IBM, McKinsey & Co., and The Rocky Mountain Institute.
Previously, Aston was an editor at BusinessWeek where he managed the Industries section, focusing on the manufacturing sector, from big automakers to high-tech startups. Later, as the magazine’s Energy & Environment Editor, he covered corporate sustainability, renewables, and green finance while producing a regular column on clean technologies. Aston is also a seasoned conference panelist and moderator, as well as an experienced radio guest.
A Pittsburgh native, Aston moved to Hong Kong to work for The Economist Group after graduating from Princeton University. Currently a resident of Brooklyn, Aston is developing a book about the greening of New York City.
