The founder and chairman of the American Business Leadership Institute in Washington, DC, Adonis Hoffman is a lawyer and leadership strategist with high-level experience in public policy, communications, corporate affairs, and international relations. He is senior vice president and counsel at the American Association of Advertising Agencies and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Mr. Hoffman helps CEOs, elected officials, trade associations, universities and foreign governments meet challenging business and public policy issues. As a trusted bridge-builder and problem solver, he brings innovative solutions and a broad worldview to leaders facing the new challenges of today’s global market, including mandates to: develop strategic partnerships, engage stakeholders, improve shareholder value and implement responsible business practices.

Hoffman served in senior legal and policy positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, at the FCC, and in the California State Legislature. In the private sector, Hoffman held posts at the American Association of Advertising Agencies; Capitol Exchange Corporation; Hopkins & Sutter; the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the World Policy Institute of The New School. He is author of Doing Good: The New Rules of Corporate Responsibility.
