Amy Barrett is a senior correspondent for BusinessWeek SmallBiz. Prior to joining the SmallBiz team in 2006, Ms. Barrett was the Philadelphia Bureau Chief for BusinessWeek for nine years, covering the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Barrett joined BusinessWeek in 1992 as Los Angeles correspondent and in 1994 became BW's Washington, DC correspondent covering banking and telecommunications. She holds a BS in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
