DAN OLSON

Founder / Business Development

Entrepreneur, marketer, deal-maker.

I'm a very results-oriented marketing and business development executive with a proven ability to transform start-up companies into innovative, thriving organizations. I'm always looking for ways to deliver real and meaningful value to customers and I prefer to stick close to the end-product rather than separate myself with layers of management or other nonsense.

I have solid experience managing marketing budgets upwards of $35 million and sourcing and hiring both traditional and interactive marketing agencies.

I have negotiated several dozen significant contracts with both private and public organizations (including Fortune 500 companies). This experience includes service contracts, content licensing and co-branded distribution deals. I was often part of the deal team for large-scale mergers and acquisitions and individually managed several smaller asset spin-offs.

I have experience presenting strategic initiatives to employees, clients, customers and boards and have often been asked to present at conferences and off-sites.

I have experience seeing small, entreprenurial organizations through several rounds of venture funding. I also have significant experience with public company reporting and operating requirements.
