I've had the opportunity to spend over 35 years in the franchise industry as a franchise executive and franchisee. My franchise experience has included the retail food, manufacturing, home health care, medical staffing and GPS fleet tracking industries. I've also done international licensing in Asia, Europe and South America. I just published The Franchise Buyers Manual a comprehensive guide for people considering the purchase of a franchise. In 2004 I wrote Franchising From the Inside Out a book that dealt with the key aspects of purchasing a franchise. More recently as a consultant I have established several franchise concepts for independent business owners. I operate a website franchiseknowhow.com and publish newsletters and a blog for franchisees and franchisors. I am a guest blogger for bluemaumau.com and franchisehelp. I will accept consulting assignments from qualified individuals and franchisors.
