FREEK VERMEULEN

Freek Vermeulen – Associate Professor of Strategic & International Management – joined the London Business School in August 2000. He is the author of the book "Business Exposed: The naked truth about what really goes on in the world of business" (FT Prentice Hall).

Freek teaches courses to executives and executive MBA students on various topics related to strategic management. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including the first-ever winner of London Business School’s “Excellence in Teaching Award”.

Freek’s research has been published extensively in the most prestigious academic journals in the field of strategic management. He is the recipient of various research-related awards, including the prestigious Academy of Management Journal Best Paper Award for his work on internationalization strategy.

He is an active academic consultant for companies such as KPMG, Maersk, PwC, Roche, ThyssenKrupp, and various others. He is a key-note speaker on topics such as profitable growth, mergers & acquisitions, strategic innovation, and strategy & leadership.
