I'm interested in the deep structural changes companies have to go through to embrace social media and to simultaneously adapt to the new economic paradigm. My consulting focuses on uncovering the many different perspectives within an organisation, and an organisation's extended family, and bringing these perspectives to bear on the issue of how an organisation must innovate.
I think of this process as seeding the first generation of conversation if a company should choose to go ahead and deploy social technologies. I come to this work from journalism and consulting.
Because of the particular focus of my client work developments in social media are important to me. Because social media is important so too is following the ways in which social values and work values care changing. I am constantly trying to understand how changing values are going to impact on work, innovation and productivity.
