KEVIN HERNANDEZ
• I am a foreign policy specialist with expertise in Africa, Central Asia, international energy policy, and U.S. national security policy.
• As a senior advisor to a U.S. Senator on energy, defense, and foreign policy, I drafted legislation that established for the first time a consolidated U.S. national energy security policy.
• My passion is the development of new energy in Africa where growing demand for electrification, abundant green energy potential, and a lack of preexisting infrastructure and policy barriers, give Africa the potential to leapfrog the industrialized world on its way to developing a new/green energy sector.
• Besides a golf problem, my hobbies include flaunting international visa requirements and avoiding (just barely) being declared persona non grata by host governments.
