Kyle is tasked with advising clients on media relations, digital and social media strategy and thought leadership platforms that enable message penetration and achieve bottom-line business results. In this role, Kyle, and his teams, have been successful in creating, executing and managing global communication’s campaigns which have increased brand awareness and achieved desired market positioning for his clients.
Kyle has charged the Racepoint team handling all external communications for One Laptop per Child and was instrumental in outlining and executing communications strategy as part of the 2007 “Give One, Get One” campaign; which earned a Silver Anvil Award from the PRSA and the 2008 IPRA / United Nations Grand Award. The campaign raised $35 million, enabling the delivery of more than 100,000 XO laptops to children in Afghanistan, Mongolia and Rwanda.
He has built strong relationships with leading business, technology and consumer media across the globe. As a result, he has secured top-tier print, digital and broadcast coverage for his clients with outlets including: The Today Show, The New York Times, CNN, Gizmodo, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, The Financial Times, Reuters, AP, IBD, NPR, BBC, TechCrunch and the USA Today.
He has also played an influential role in integrating digital and social media practices across the agency and continues to expand the list of new digital tools and platforms that can be applied in marketing and communications programs. In addition, Kyle is also a founding blogger with the RaceTalk Blog, where he continues to broaden Racepoint’s digital presence.
