MAXWELL HOFFMANN

Heavily immersed in content strategy, social media and social networking, Hoffmann has over 15 years of diverse experience in translation, localization and globalization. Starting a career as a graphic artist, doing agency and government work, he moved into digital typesetting support and advanced to high level sales support and product management for publishing software vendors. Supporting single-source, scalable publishing solutions on MAC, Windows and UNIX platforms, Hoffmann has trained over 1,500 customers and sales professionals in a variety of positions, and is an acknowledged expert in FrameMaker, XML, DITA and other DTP formats. Since 1995 Hoffmann has worked for translation agencies, focusing on multilingual publishing projects that often exceed 1,000 pages in up to 24 languages.

Hoffman also currently serves Globalization Partners International as primary documentation content strategist and also as its chief social media, social networking and community content strategist.

Since its founding in 2001, Globalization Partners International has provided comprehensive document, software and website localization services for a wide range of clientele.
