I have 30 years of experience as an intellectual property lawyer and consultant in various settings, including private practice with law firms, 14 years as Vice President and Senior Intellectual Property Counsel with Warner Bros. and 2 years as the President of the International AntiCounterfeiting Association (the "IACC"). I was also a Member of the Board of Directors, an Officer and a President of the International Trademark Association (the "INTA").

I now work with the largest and oldest Intellectual Property law firm in Brazil, Dannemann, Siemsen, Bigler & Ipanema Moreira. www.dannemann.com.br. Once again, in 2009, Dannemann Siemsen was named as the number 1 IP firm in Brazil by Chambers & Partners. Many of my partners at Dannemann are also highly ranked by Chambers.

I am the author of the monograph"Trademark Counterfeiting In Asia And the Pacific Rim" (2000) and the chapter on AntiCounterfeiting in the book "Famous And Well-Known Trademarks." I also co-authored a chapter entitled "How To Build An Effective Anti-Counterfeiting Program," in the book "Trademark Counterfeiting," and many articles concerning intellectual property published in journals and magazines.

I am the Co-Manager of the LINKEDIN Groups, Anti-Counterfeiting Group, Anti Conterfeit Network and Brand Enforcement IP Professionals.

I have given presentations on IP protection before a wide variety of audiences on the protection of intellectual property in the US, England, Spain, Germany, France, Mexico
