I’ve been involved with the Internet in various forms for almost twenty years, consistently concerning myself with maximising its potential to unlock the value in information that has traditionally been locked away. Roles have included technical work, shaping public policy, analysis and advocacy. Most recently, I have been a Technology Evangelist at UK technology company, Talis.

I blog for ZDNet on the Semantic Web, record regular podcasts with thought leaders in the Semantic Web and Educational Technology markets, convene the monthly Semantic Web Gang round-table podcast, and routinely present or chair panels at industry events.
