RANDY PYE

Randy Pye is one of the original five founders of the Centennial incorporation movement, the largest incorporation in United States history.
Randy was elected as Centennial’s first Mayor and has served as the only Mayor since incorporation.i
In 2003, 2004 and again in 2008 the Mayor was elected as Chairman of the Metro Mayors Caucus. The Caucus is comprised of 38 Mayors from the region.
In 2006 he was asked to co-chair the new Colorado Tomorrow Alliance that is looking at how Colorado and specifically the front-range will develop in the next 20 years.
Randy is employed as Senior Vice President of Capitol Solutions where he leads the local government practice and works with the development community in effectively moving through the local government land use process. Capitol Solutions is a Colorado-based government and public affairs firm. Randy came to Capitol Solutions from the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, where he was the Director of Investor Relations for five years. Randy is a nationally recognized speaker on regionalism and regional cooperation and has been invited to speak at over two-dozen national and regional forums and conferences throughout the United States.
Randy and his wife Susan have been married for 30 years and have a married daughter Heather Sarbaugh who lives in Parker, CO with her husband Steve and their children, Sierra and Hunter.
He is an avid reader and is a guest columnist for the Centennial Citizen, Your Hub.com and The Villager newspapers. His hobbies include hiking, camping,kayaking, outdoor photography, antique map collecting, and he is a charter member of the Centennial Rotary Club.
