RAUL ESPINOSA

President and CEO
Government Relations, Jacksonville, Florida Area

Raul's expertise range from managing a private-public initiative, coordinating the work of a procurement Think Tank, directing a national coalition of small businesses to running a government purchasing group.

The small business community in Jacksonville has recognized Raul as one of its ‘50 most influential leaders’ (Advantage Magazine) and as its ‘Minority Champion’ (Jacksonville Business Journal.) He has also earned the distinction of been selected, by his peers, as ‘One of the South Top 300 Small Business Leaders (Business Leader) and one of the country's "100 Powerful CEOs' (MEA Magazine).

The Florida Times Union acknowledged his leadership through a front-page feature story available on this link: http://bit.ly/8YMgWH

His successes in public procurement have set up in motion a process which will free up $64 Billion (in annual contracts) for the small business statutory reservation and allow small businesses to get pay much sooner than 30 days.

Raul is a Board Member of the National Federal Contractors Association (http://www.NaFCAusa.com) and an Adviser - in procurement matters - to the Minority Business Round Table (http://www.MBRT.net); the Florida Minority Community Reinvestment Coalition (http://www.FMCRC.org) and MBELDEF (http://www.MBELDEF.org).

He is also a founding member of The Unity Group (www.unity-group.org) which gather anecdotal evidence for Members of Congress about discrimination against minorities and women.
