As an evangelist for the convergence of structured and unstructured content, which will drive Enterprise Information Management, Robert founded The Enterprise Technology Convergence Council. His goal and passion is to raise the standards of EIM through thoughtful technology convergence.
Well educated, he holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, a BS in Petroleum Engineering and a BA in Technical Writing. Interests include real estate investing, integration of computer/video/audio gear, golf, collecting vinyl records, and mentoring youths in sports.
Robert was a pioneer and evangelist in OLAP, implementing and pontificating Arbor Essbase beginning in early '94. Earlier in his career, he was an Engineer at Halliburton, then a Technical Writer and Programmer at CA.]]></description>
