Rohit is a founding member of the 360 Digital Influence group at Ogilvy, a leading global marketing agency and author of the award winning new marketing book Personality Not Included, an entertaining and useful guide for companies on how to use their personality to stand out. He also writes the Influential Marketing blog, consistently ranked among the top 50 marketing blogs in the world, and has been featured in international media including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, BusinessWorld, MarketingChina, AdAsia, the Globe & Mail and many others. He is widely recognized in the marketing industry (and on Wikipedia) for inventing the concept of Social Media Optimization (SMO) on his blog and is a frequent keynote speaker at business events around the world including upcoming appearances in London, Singapore, Kiev and Toronto.
Personality Not Included is his first book and features the stories of more than 100 brands from all over the world. Unlike many other American marketing books, Personality Not Included takes a global view and is distributed by McGraw-Hill in 32 different countries with five translated versions scheduled for release over the next several months. The book has received significant early praise and features a forward by bestselling author and entrepreneur, Guy Kawasaki.
