RONNIE ANN HIMMEL
BACKGROUND: For the last 10+ years, I’ve worked as an independent IT consultant in business process improvement, workplace coaching, plain-language writing/editing, project management/coordination, and relationship building. I specialize in finding solutions that meet both management and customer/user needs. With experience in academia, government, non-profit and private industry, I feel very comfortable working in a wide variety of environments.
MY BLOG: In my spare time, I created the popular career blog Work Coach Cafe, where I offer online help with job search as well as career and workplace issues - plus a lot of support & comfort through tough times. I still write for it even though I sold it earlier this year.
EDUCATION: I have an MBA in Finance with a minor in Economics from NYU, and a B.A. in Theater with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Albany. More recently, I completed a career development certificate from NYU to support both my career blog and workplace coaching.
