In 1975 I started working. My first job was a caregiver to an elder lady in our community. I worked for her several years.
When I left that job I worked for an assembly parts and air condition coil company. in department stores, insurance agency, McDonald's on the breakfast crew, waitress for a barbecue restaurant, also a restaurant supervisor.
1986- present I worked in the municipal court. I worked in all areas. Data entry, collecting payments, filing, processing dockets and assisting the judge in court, issuing warrants, and assistant to the court administrator.
In 2004 we purchased our first rental property. Since that time we acquired several properties. We find them. Present the proposal, negotiate, and purchase.
My husband is responsible for maintenance and repairs. I'm responsible for tenants and the financial management.
Interview tenants, prepare lease agreements, and contracts for housing authorities. Also, proper screening, background investigations, credit, criminal history, rental history, and ability to pay.
Manage finances, tenant deposits, rent collection, utilities payments, mortgages, insurance and property taxes.
