Since 2007 I have served as a one-person marketing department (replacing an agency) in the NY area. I am responsible for all marketing campaigns from ideation/ conception, planning, negotiating and budgeting, through production, placement, implementation and tracking. I have hands-on experience in traditional marketing (print, outdoor, television, radio, direct marketing, and promotions), as well as online marketing (PPC/ SEM, Email campaigns, blogging/ microblogging, twitter, facebook ads, display ads, website content, SEO fundamentals, etc). My experiences have given me a unique understanding of people and of motivations.
I am very analytical and enjoy extracting insights from data, though I think about problems creatively and usually prefer the simple solution. I utilize online tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords, customer surveys, email analytics, Facebook analytics, and website back-end statistics to track campaign effectiveness and measure ROI.
I am extremely motivated to exceed expectations and to improve. I find it highly rewarding to overcome a good challenge. If I do not receive feedback, I ask for it. I work well autonomously and with little guidance (such as in my current position), though I have also led and participated in teams (such as academically, in the military, as a volunteer for Tony Robbins events, and in a residence life university environment).
I enjoy a small-company, fast-paced, and challenging environment. This type of environment does not depend solely on a company's size.
