As the Director of Publishing Technology at this major book publisher, I’m responsible for supporting all technologies involving the creation of our print, audio and digital products. I design and deploy systems ranging from infrastructure (network, servers) to desktop technologies (completing our transition to the Adobe CS suite for print and web; Apple Final Cut for video) to enterprise systems such as digital asset management.
I’m currently designing an automated workflow system that will have an XML backbone.
