As president of Learning Paths International, Steve has developed and lead a network of partners in the U.S., Europe, China, Canada and India. Learning Paths International is a training and development consulting firm that focuses on increasing speed to performance. Successful Learning Paths projects have been done for more than 400 functions and 50,000 employees, leading to an average reduction in time to proficiency of more than 30%.

Steve is also the author of five books including: Learning Paths: increase profits by reducing the time it takes to get employees up-to-speed (Pfeiffer and ASTD 2004). He is also a contributor to the Trainer's Portable Mentor (Pfeiffer 2010.) He has published more than 100 articles and countless blog posts.

Steve also has extensive experience designing and developing training for call centers, sales forces, customer service agents, managers and internal consultants. He has worked in almost every industry from banking to high tech to health care to manufacturing. Steve has developed training and led training projects in a wide range of delivery methods. Steve brings to the book a broad business prospective from the outside looking in. He has work with companies such as: GE, Disney, Caremark CVS, Certainteed and more than 75 others.

As a professional speaker, Steve has presented to numerous associations including: ASTD, ISPI, SALT, ASQ, and SHRM. In 2011, Steve spoke to more than 1000 attendees at the Chinese Society of Training and Development Expo.
