THOMAS WUNDERLICH

Student
Wake Forest University

Business Consultant with a specialty in Webdesign and Integration.

My background in business comes from years of reading business magazines including small business versions of Fortune and BusinessWeek, as well as business books. The best business blog I follow is Techdirt. My favorite business book is Comic Wars: Marvel’s Battle for Survival while I find Anderson's Longtail and Diamond's Collapse very important.
I recently won a business consulting contest at Groupereye.com for FleetingLook, an internet start-up: http://groupereye.com/blog/fleeting-look-case-competition-winners/

I have an academic background in design in both web and print media. This includes knowledge of most Adobe programs. I use HTML and CSS predominantly backed by PHP architectures. I do know Flash. As a web designer I take a serious interest in SEO (Search Engine Optimization.) Design-wise, my most-used book is The Computer is Not a Typewriter (it's very short but very essential to understanding design).

I combine my background in business and webdesign to work as a consultant, especially in new media. I use art history to further my design ethos. This is used in conjunction with a liberal arts background to allow me to take on any challenge with confidence.
