I am a classically trained consumer products marketing executive. With 20 years of successful experience in food, beverage, computer accessories and automotive, I have a proven ability to drive revenue, improve EBITDA and build strong brands across a diverse set of industries.

I started my career with one of the great marketing boot camps in brand/product management - Carnation Company owned by Nestle USA. Since leaving Nestle, I have applied this experience and skill at a number of smaller, more nimble companies with a focus on brand revitalization and strong top line growth. I believe in a fix, build and drive strategy. This includes early attention on removing impediments to growth, the identification of new products, new categories, new channels and a focus on high impact growth opportunities. Focused on branded companies looking for accelerated business growth and classic brand turnaround opportunities with a leaning toward, fast and pragmatic decision-making.

In 2008, I created a blog to give back and help a community that supported me during my 2007 job search. Tim’s Strategy™ is now an online portal for anyone looking to better market themselves in this new "sharing-based" online economy. It leads individuals, small business owners and non-profits to content, tools, products and services that will help them grow and improve their offerings. Content includes social media, personal branding, business branding, social networking and much more.
