profileVern currently manages the Energy Management System (EMS) group for Tacoma Power (TPWR). He has over twenty years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting data acquisition and control systems. Vern has been with TPWR the past eleven years where he has been involved in updating and enhancing TPWR’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA). Prior to joining TPWR, he worked for the Boeing Company, where he developed and supported data acquisition and control systems for avionics, flight simulation, as well as specialized military and space applications as part of the Phantom Works division.
