I have served the Customs & Central Excise Department, Ministry of Finance, Government of India for 23 years at various positions. I have had a long tenure with the apex intelligence organizations, namely, Directorate-General of Revenue Intelligence and Directorate-General of Central Excise Intelligence and carried out innumerable investigations on indirect tax evasions (Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax), classification & valuation frauds, misuse of Foreign Trade Policy schemes, collection and development of intelligence at all-India level.

As Associate Director - Indirect Taxes (National Leader) with BDO, the fifth largest multinational consulting firm, I set up its Indirect Tax practice in India and served niche domestic and international clients, heading a team of 29 members consisting of 9 CA's, 3 Lawyers, 2 MBA's, Senior Managers, Managers, etc.

As Group Senior Vice President & Head - Regulatory, Indirect Taxes, International Trade with Arshiya International Ltd. I pioneered the evolution of India's first Free Trade & Warehousing Zone and provided regulatory support to Arshiya's other business verticals such as Domestic Distriparks, Private Rail Operations, Road Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, Logistics & Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, International Trade, Business Development and IT designing which together provide integrated logistics solutions to domestic and international clients.
