Fitch: No exisiting financial entity can replace Fannie, Freddie multifamily

While it's unlikely for both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to serve an indefinite conservatorship, Fitch Ratings believes there no one else in the market who can fill the void. However, there are some players in the industry that disagree and over time could potentially fill the void.
