Financial Closing Time – Make it Faster

I’m writing this blog six days after the close of the month and for most companies, the quarter. Our benchmark research on the closing process finds that only half of midsize- (100-999 employees) and large companies (1,000+ employees) have closed their books at this point, even though best practice is to have completed the accounting cycle by this date.
