Today's FT had a simple demonstration of augmented reality in an article in which the reader would position a graphic placed in the paper in the direction of the reader's webcam reading from a FT link. Although I have seen this demonstration of AR before, it is fun to do yourself, and in my mind a start point for innovative ways of presenting your message in the ever expanding media in which an ad message not only reaches target audiences but the target audiences can send it right back through social media, microblogging, internet, mobile , and virtual media such as augmented reality...

This ‘Black Hole’ is meant to represent the tremendous levels of borrowing by the Labour Party. We live in an era of instantaneous communication and information transmission in which ideas can spread across the globe in seconds and not months or years – street painting artists have the freedom to express themselves as they are artists and creative, intelligent individuals. However, street painting artists have a responsibility to be aware of the effects that they can transmit to all individuals and use their given artistic abilities sensibly and wisely.
