DOE says stimulus spending at $1 bil per month, loans to increase

The US Department of Energy's chief of economic stimulus spending said Thursday the agency was now spending about $1 billion per month under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, a pace that would largely remain unchanged until the funds are spent.
