Le Duc Thuy, the former governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), has suggested the central bank to raise the compulsory reserve ratio (CRR) to 10% from the current 3-5%, which means that the central bank will have additional 250 trillion dong to regulate and consolidate the banking system.
